All of the main floor slab has been poured, as well as the parkade base.
Now, we're using every available flat surface to form the concrete panels that will make up the exterior and some interior walls. We're even using the second-floor slab surface to form panels.
There are eighty panels in total, but there isn't enough room to lay them all out on the available flat surfaces. So, after the first panels are poured, a second set of panels will be formed and poured on top of the first layer, and then a 3rd layer on the 2nd.
The goal is to pour all 80 panels over the next month, then, in a 5-6 day period, crane all the panels into place, forming most of the exterior “overnight”.
It will be dramatic!
